THE NAVEL OF SICILY FOR ALL

ACCESSIBLE ROUTES IN ENNA, AIDONE AND PIAZZA ARMERINA
THE NAVEL OF SICILY FOR ALL

After winning the “Invitalia Cultura Crea 2.0” call for tender, we have been working with the cities of Enna, Aidone and Piazza Armerina to create DESIGN-for-ALL paths to enhance their artistic heritage.

Our project, which is being carried out in strict collaboration with local institutions, charts itineraries within the three cities and has designed a series of services to improve experiences at heritage sites for blind, visually- impaired, deaf, and hearing-impaired visitors, as well as a series of activities aimed at engaging young people in culture.
Tactile maps and routes have been installed in each city, and podcasts with explanations are available to accompany visitors during their visits.

All materials are available at the city’s Pro Loco stations and can also be downloaded free of charge from the user-friendly digital platform designed specifically for this purpose. The cutting-edge technology used here has been created in accordance with Design-for-All precepts and are guaranteed to be user-friendly for all visitors, whether used independently or shared, ensuring the visitor’s enjoyment of the heritage site.
